to die for.

week 2 of the baked baking adventure: sweet & salty brownies.
this recipe was incredibly easy, and oh-so-delicious. they took a little longer than indicated, but it might be my oven. i had some extra caramel so i drizzled it over the top of the batch. i am not even a huge fan of caramel but this one is especially light and delectable.

on another note, i am in need of a proper double boiler. i am tired of always being so makeshift.

if you go to the website of "baked sunday mornings" (there's a link in the post), you can see it.

got it. looks so good. did you use a candy thermometer?

sort of used the candy thermometer. you could make them without it.

Definitely too die for ! What not a fan of caramel ? I think an intervention is called for. And I think most of us sort of used the candy thermometer. :)

You know what that looks like to me. Mind in the gutter. Can't help it. I thought the ice cream at WD-50 looked like a Monistat "ovule", so...you can only imagine what I think about that caramel drizzle.

But, this reminds me that 1) I want chocolate right now, and 2) I just ate three fudge-topped rice krispie treats, and I want MORE. UGH.
